Tonight is 3 weeks since it started snowing. We had one day that it actually rained and tried to melt the snow, but it has snowed every day otherwise, including this evening when it was practically white-out conditions. I’ve been dying to get out with my camera. My brother in law Matt gave me a subscription to a photography magazine and some camera gadgets for Christmas, and I’m inspired, enthused, and motivated. But….I don’t pull my camera from the bag in rain or snow. The one day I did get it out in snow, the day Rick and I walked to the market when we were snowed in, I fell and braced my fall with both hands, including the hand my camera was in. The snow was so deep there was no crashing the camera, but water…snow is just frozen water, and water is very bad for cameras….so I am extrememly photography-deprived right now!!!
Here are a few indoor photos I’ve taken recently:

Bosco, hates the camera: worse than Hannah

Best way to get a haircut: in your own home, by your daughter, with a glass of wine in hand

Maggie, on alert and ready to work

My Christmas tree through the bottom of a wine glass
Yes, I’d had a couple martinis. Made by the one and only:

The Mix-Master, who shall remain nameless

Don't call the paramedic; he IS one.
The last time Jim tried that, he went home with a bloody lip. He asked for it and he’s on his own, as far as I’m concerned. (To be fair to Bosco, he didn’t mean to hurt him, but no one should be trying to feed a dog from his mouth. Does this concern you as much as it does me? You know, that he’s a paramedic and all…?)

See Christmas Post. This is what I was talking about.

...And This.
Spring is coming. I can feel it.
Well, actually, all I feel is snow in the forcast. But come June, Spring will be here!
