Nora spent the day with me yesterday.
She now asks for music as soon as we are in the car. She announces, “Damma Drives”, and she jabbers all the way to our house.
She points out trees and houses and flowers, and we watch the sides of the road for deer. We don’t see any.
She plays peek-a-boo with Bampa-Rick through the window while he tends the smoker.
After a couple hours we go for a walk in search of deer, but it must be their naptime.
Instead we run and skip and jump.
It was a great day.
