What’s in YOUR phone gallery??

Last night I uploaded several pictures from my phone to my flickr account. It was telling. Not sure what it told, but still…it was telling. Here’s a few, you may have seen a couple on my blog or facebook before:

From October 17, 2010, Miss Nora:

…SO? What’s in YOUR phone gallery?

Firsts *Revised*

This weekend I got to meet my new nephew, Oliver, for the first time.

And this is the first photo I took with my new camera:
IMG_0005

This is not my new camera. It’s Tim’s camera and it’s the Mother of All Cameras, the Canon 5D. And he let me use it at Grandma’s funeral on Saturday. Only thing is, I had it set wrong the pictures aren’t very good. But at least I can say I shot with the 5D.

Just like Daddy:

The first time we had to say goodbye to Oliver: He was more interested in Rick’s beard than smiling for the camera at 5:30 yesterday morning.

This is the rose bush in front of the house that Josh and Abby can call their first home:

And now I’m going to take the first sore throat I’ve had in ages and go lay down.

*After publishing this post and going away for a while and taking my bath and drinking my hot water with lemon and honey, I came back and noticed that this is my 600th post since starting my blog on blogspot.com on December 3, 2005! If I’d realized this earlier, and if I didn’t have an elephant sitting on my sinus’s, and if my head wasn’t pounding, I might have done a “look back”. But all of those things are true, so I will just congratulate myself on 600 posts in almost 5 and half years and say goodnight.*

I wonder what my favorites will be in 2011.

I’m sure they will involve a wedding, someone turning 2, flowers, and who knows what all else!  I do know that I plan to take way more pictures this year than I did in 2010.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Wherever You Go, There You Are

So, a few posts back I mentioned a little something about Marty and Bridged moving to Nepal. Well the countdown has begun. Today they moved out of their little apartment they were renting temporarily between when their house sold and when they fly out from Bellingham. The next 2 weeks they are off relaxing and conferencing, then flitting about until they leave the end of July.

Bridged has started a blog where she will chronicle their journey and keep us all up to speed with how they are doing. Now, I’m not posting this link just because her first real blog post is about me, but since I was flattered and no one has written a blog post about me (that I know of)…well, you get the picture.

Here is it: Wherever You go, There You Are check it out and follow Marty and Bridge’s excellent adventure!
