1. Yesterday after work I told Rick I’d help him as soon as I finished a blog post. He asked what it was about. When I said, “my parent’s 55th wedding anniversary”, he made a wisecrack; something along the lines of, “oh, a blog post about your parents…something new and different.” What the heck is THAT supposed to mean?
2. …”What the heck was that supposed to mean!?” I asked Abby when Josh and Rick were downstairs. She laughed and nodded and made some wisecrack remark about reading my whole blog and realizing it’s all about Nora and my parents. WHAT? Really? Well, then I suppose after this week someone will make a wise-ass remark that I only write about my niece Sarah! (sorry Nora in 8 years when you read this on micro-film)
(oh, and sorry, Dad, tonight)
3. I miss my Mom and Dad.
4. I miss Nora.
5. Isn’t this the most romantic picture you’ve seen all day!?
It’s Friday. It’s well after 5:00, and I’m happy.
p.s. Tomorrow, I get Nora all day. Consider yourself warned.
I’ve received a lot more from your blog than just knowing you love Nora (and she’s ADORABLE) and your parents (they sound WONDERFUL) — so don’t worry about the “detractors”. I love your blog, and I’ve learned from it, and I’ve never even met you…
Keep up the good work, and print this out and show it to the scoffers!! 😀
Why thank you Leslie! I was trying to remember how we got acquainted, and I think it was from the weekend PW was in Seattle, wasn’t it?
I’m so glad you dropped a comment, and you can be sure, if I don’t print it out, I will at least make sure certain members of my family read it!
You remembered correctly…our blogs ended up on hers. That was fun! And I “met” you to boot…
Hi Linda – I too love your blog. I say to the devil to your detractors. Keep keeping us informed about your family.
🙂 Judith
Just write about what is interesting to you. It is your blog, after all!!
